This text and video diary will chart my progress as I try to make the "creation to consumer" route work as a micro budget filmmaker.
It will also chart my progress as I attempt to break into the mainstream industry too. That is also my side by side longer term objective Hopefully others can learn from my success or failure.
We are so used to seeing society's definition of people who have "made it" We rarely see the struggles, sacrifices, and commitment it takes to get our dream careers
I think it would be cool if we seen people in all walks of life as they try to make their passion into their job. Whether in film, sports, music, art, craft, business, whatever.
Why? To simply show that nobody starts at the top. Its a long bumpy road, but we can all get what we want if we develop a passion for what we do.
I have other tumblr blogs for filmmaking tips, diary of my next movie production, but this one will chart my overall weekly progress towards my goals.
I am not some life Guru. I am just a dude trying to build my personal brand, while trying to work my way out of the gutter on my own terms.
